The Most Popular Items Purchased by Russian Youth on Online Marketplaces

Analyzing the preferences of Russian youth in online shopping, it was found that clothes and food are the most frequently purchased items on marketplaces.

A recent study was conducted to determine which products are most commonly purchased by zoomers, young people aged 14-24, on online marketplaces. The results revealed that 72% of young people buy clothes on internet platforms, 51% buy food, 49% buy decorative and skincare cosmetics, and 49% purchase shoes. Additionally, 48% of zoomers buy online personal hygiene products, 41% buy hobby and craft supplies, and 39% buy electronics.

About 95% of the surveyed zoomers believe that buying goods on marketplaces is more advantageous than traditional stores, and 65% are confident that they shop online more frequently than their parents.
