An unusual incident occurred at the Vnukovo-2 post office in the Moscow region, where the vigilance of employees led to an emergency evacuation. The cause was a package from Novosibirsk, whose contents appeared suspicious on an X-ray scan, according to "Sib.fm".
On Monday, January 6, while scanning packages, postal workers discovered an X-ray image resembling components of an improvised explosive device. Telegram channels later spread false information about the possible presence of dynamite in the package.
As a result, postal workers were evacuated, and bomb disposal experts were called to the scene. The suspicious parcel was opened, revealing a collection of Soviet coins inside. The outlines of the coins on the X-ray image, along with their arrangement, created the illusion of nails and wires, leading to a false alarm.
Earlier, BFM-Novosibirsk reported on unusual objects that were prohibited from being brought into courts in the Novosibirsk region.
