As part of an operational-preventive operation, police officers in Krasnoyarsk visited a clothing store located in a shopping complex in the Kirovsk district to check compliance with immigration laws by foreign workers. During the visit, one of the migrants attempted to hide between the rows in the shopping area, but was noticed and detained by the police.
It turned out that the migrant man did not have any identification documents with him, and he also did not have registration at his place of residence. The illegal migrant was held accountable under Article 19.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
As a result of the raid, the police officers identified 3 more citizens from neighboring countries and two minors born in 2007 and 2015 who were in the territory of the Russian Federation in violation of immigration laws. The police officers drew up a number of protocols under Articles 18.8, 18.9, and 18.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The child and the teenager were placed in the "Rostok" Family and Children Center. The law enforcement officers also discovered that one of the detained adult migrants had provided a false registration at his place of residence. A criminal case was initiated under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in relation to this fact.
As a result of the raid, two of the illegal migrants will face deportation.
