School is officially back in session because Abbott Elementary is here for its third season. After a delay caused by the writers' and actors' strikes, filming finally began in November 2023. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the show and curious to see how the romance between Janine and Gregory unfolds.
The show's star and creator, Quinta Brunson, spoke about the upcoming season. She shared, "I think Gregory has to figure out how he really feels about that information, knowing that, 'OK, this person isn't ready to be with me yet, isn't ready to take the leap.' So do I take that leap with someone else? Do I wait for that person?' And I think there's probably going to be more conversations about it in the future."
The first two episodes of Abbott Elementary will premiere back-to-back on ABC on February 7 in a "supersized premiere." After that, new episodes will air every Wednesday. If you miss an episode, you can also catch up by streaming it on Hulu the day after its release.
