The brand Alena Akhmadullina has showcased its latest collection, titled "Belogorye," which draws inspiration from the folk crafts of the Belgorod region. The unique ornamentation style of the region, known as "black embroidery," has served as the main inspiration for the collection's prints and embroidery.
The collection is mainly composed of dresses, but also features wardrobe items that are specific to the Belogorye region, such as the famous "sinyak" coat, sarafan, and poneva. One distinct feature of the drop is that it was created in collaboration with artistic and creative groups from the region, as well as local enterprises. Additionally, a competition was organized among art schools for the best drawing dedicated to the old Oskol toy, and the winning artworks became the basis for the collection's prints.
Previously, Alena Akhmadullina released a campaign for its spring-summer 2024 collection, which was inspired by Alexander Pushkin's fairy tale "Ruslan and Ludmila."
