On February 14, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated Valentine's Day in Canada. They visited the First Nations of western Canada and toured the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre with Youth Ambassadors, Chief Nelson and Wilson Williams. The visit was part of their appearance at the Invictus Games' "One Year to Go" event in Whistler. A fan account shared a photo of the couple at a cocktail reception, where they were seen smiling with friends.
Meghan Markle was dressed in an all-black outfit consisting of a collarless black buttoned blouse and black pants. She accessorized with gold Bottega earrings. Prince Harry wore a dark blue sweater, a button-down shirt, and blue jeans. During their visit, they also enjoyed the Whistler training camp, where preparations were underway for the Invictus Games in 2025.
Earlier in the day, the couple arrived in Whistler bundled up to combat the cold weather. Meghan wore white jeans, a cream top, and a large beige puffer jacket. She completed her look with lace-up boots lined with fur and a black beanie. Harry also wore a beanie and a black fleece over jeans. They walked hand in hand through the snowy streets.
On February 16, Prince Harry and Meghan joined Luisana Lopilato and Michael Bublé at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver. Meghan wore a camel wraparound coat, cinched at the waist with a belt, and long brown leather gloves. According to reports, the two couples went on a double date and had dinner at an Indian restaurant called Vij’s. The chef, Vikram Vij, said that they were friendly and allowed him to choose the meal. Meghan expressed her love for spicy food. The chef also noted the affectionate and positive atmosphere between Meghan and Harry, as well as their interactions with Luisana and Michael.
